IS & REN Studios was commissioned to design a contemporary alfresco dining and shisha lounge, transforming an urban space into a tranquil retreat. The existing lounge was completely stripped out and reimagined, featuring exotic Cedar and Balau woods to bring warmth and elegance to the setting.

Thoughtfully placed lighting highlights lush bamboo and striking Corten steel water features, enhancing the atmosphere and creating a multi-sensory experience. Designed as an urban escape, this project seamlessly blends nature, luxury, and immersive design for a truly unique outdoor lounge.

IS & REN Studios was appointed to redesign Diyarbakir Kitchen, transforming it from a canteen-style restaurant into a warm and inviting family dining experience. The space underwent structural remodelling to improve functionality, creating a better flow and enhanced dining experience.

The large restaurant was carefully zoned using oak timbers, bespoke joinery, and banquet seating, introducing a sense of intimacy and comfort. The open kitchen was seamlessly integrated into the design, alongside an elegant bar, while a private function room and stylish bathrooms added to the refined atmosphere. IS & REN Studios was commissioned to transform a former run-down off-license into a stylish and functional architectural office and design showroom in Islington. The shopfront was reimagined to feature a welcoming showroom and consultation area, while private workspaces were carefully planned at the rear for a seamless workflow.

IS & REN Studios was commissioned to redefine Huggamug, transforming it from a shisha lounge with no clear identity into a vibrant pizza and shisha destination. The space was reimagined around a wood-fired oven, custom timber tables, and bespoke artwork, bringing the Huggamug story to life.

The rear indoor-outdoor area was designed as a warm and inviting space, featuring banquet seating, olive trees, mood lighting, and crafted joinery. A visual preparation area and fire pit for charcoal enhanced the interactive dining experience, creating a cohesive and atmospheric setting. IS & REN Studios was commissioned to design a dynamic office and gathering space for a student charity network, transforming a central Trafalgar Square location into a flexible, multi-purpose hub. Working within a tight budget, we created a space that accommodates drop-in work areas, social zones, and meeting/classroom functions.

The design incorporated glass partitions for zoning, modular furniture for adaptability, and clever joinery solutions, including a foldable conference table that neatly stores away when not in use.
